Carolina Carvalho começou por frequentar o curso anual para atores dirigido por John Frey, no Studio for Actors, em 2015 e desde então não parou de apostar na formação. Esteve ainda durante um ano no Brasil, onde fez formação com o Sérgio Pena e Wolf Maya, sendo neste momento uma das atrizes mais requisitadas e reconhecidas da sua geração.
Iniciou a sua carreira de atriz, em 2016, protagonizando a peça "Uma Noite de Cenas", no Teatro do Bairro. Mais tarde voltou aos palcos protagonizando a peça “Doença da Juventude” de Ferdinand Bruckner no Teatro Aberto.
A par com o teatro em 2016 fez o seu primeiro papel na ficção nacional na novela “Rainha das Flores” da SIC, seguindo-se a novela “Amor Maior”, “Vidas Opostas” e “A Serra”. Integrou diversas séries na SIC, OPTO e RTP, tais como, “Sim, Chefe!”, “Golpe de Sorte”, “Golpe - O Filme”, “Doce”, “A Generala”, “A Rainha e a Bastarda”, “Da Mood”, Pôr do Sol” e “Marco Paulo - A Série”.
No cinema destaca-se a protagonista Lena Coelho, no filme “Bem Bom”, da realizadora Patrícia Sequeira, que lhe valeu uma nomeação para melhor atriz nos prémios Sophia.
O percurso até aqui valeu-lhe o reconhecimento do público pelo seu talento, esforço, dedicação e entrega a todos os projetos que faz e ganhou em 2021 o Globo de Ouro - Prémio Revelação como melhor atriz portuguesa dos anos 2020 e 2021.
Carolina Carvalho started attending the annual course for actors directed by John Frey, at the Studio for Actors, in 2015 and since then she hasn't stopped investing in training. She also spent a year in Brazil, where she trained with Sergio Pena and Wolf Maya, and is currently one of the most sought-after and recognized actresses of her generation.
She began her acting career in 2016, starring in the play "A Night of Scenes", at Teatro do Bairro. Later she returned to the stage starring in the play "Disease of Youth" by Ferdinand Bruckner at Teatro Aberto.
Along with the theater in 2016 she played her first role in national fiction in the SIC soap opera "Rainha das Flores", followed by the soap opera "Amor Maior", "Vidas Opostas" and "A Serra". She integrated several series in SIC, OPTO and RTP, such as "Sim, Chefe!", "Golpe de Sorte", "Golpe - O Filme", "Doce", "A Generala", "A Rainha e a Bastarda", "Da Mood", Pôr do Sol" and "Marco Paulo - A Série".
In the cinema she plays the main role of Lena Coelho, in the film "Bem Bom", by director Patrícia Sequeira, which earned her a nomination for best actress in the Sophia awards.
Her journey so far has earned her the public's recognition for her talent, effort, dedication and commitment to all her projects, and in 2021 she won the Golden Globe - Revelation Award as best Portuguese actress of the years 2020 and 2021.
