Atualmente a atleta é campeã mundial de bodyboard, tetracampeã europeia e hexacampeã nacional da modalidade.
É um dos rostos internacionalmente mais marcantes da modalidade, não só devido às suas classificações mas também por ser uma defensora do meio-ambiente e estilo de vida saudável, inspirando os seus milhares de fãs.
Joana Schenker was born in Sagres, the daughter of German parents. At age 13 she began to practice bodyboarding and at 14 she competed for the first time.
Currently, the athlete is world champion bodyboarder, four-time European champion and six-time national champion of the sport.
She is one of the most internationally notable faces in the sport, not only because of her classifications but also because of her support of the environment and healthy lifestyle, inspiring thousands of fans.
