A sua formação inicia-se com a licenciatura em Estudos Teatrais - Curso de Interpretação na Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo, no Porto, (durante a qual frequentou o Programa Erasmus na Inglaterra). Mais tarde concluiu o Mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação - Cinema e Televisão, em Lisboa.
A sua formação artística diversifica com o Curso Clown da École Philippe Gaulier em Paris, com o Thierry Salmon Project (Curso Internacional Itinerante de Aperfeiçoamento Teatral) em Itália, França e Portugal, e 2 anos em Nova York no Michael Howard Studios no programa Two-Year Conservatory.
Trabalhou com o Teatro Nacional de São João no Porto, e em Lisboa com o Teatro Aberto, com a Companhia de Teatro do Chapitô e com Teatro Nacional D.Maria II, com encenadores como José Wallenstein, José Carlos Garcia, Bruno Bravo, João Lourenço, Helena Pimenta, Filipe Crawford e Carlo Cecchi
Como encenadora dirigiu o espetáculo espetáculo “O Anexo” e "Segundo Capitulo" de Neil Simon.
Em Televisão destaca-se a sua participação nas séries para a RTP “Depois do Adeus”, “Pai à Força”, “Idiotas, pronto”. Para a OPTO/SIC na série “VANDA” e no telefilme “Na Porta Ao Lado- MEDO” Santa Rita Filmes.
E a sua estreia no Cinema foi com o realizador Joaquim Leitão. Mais recentemente podemos vê-la como Virgínia Caldeira em “SNU” de Patricia Sequeira, e Sara em “Salgueiro Maia – o Implicado” de Sérgio Graciano.
É ainda formadora e professora de Pilates.
Her training began with a degree in Theatre Studies - Acting Course at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo, in Porto, (during which she attended the Erasmus Program in England). Later she completed her Masters in Communication Sciences - Cinema and Television, in Lisbon.
Her artistic training diversifies with the Clown Course at École Philippe Gaulier in Paris, the Thierry Salmon Project (International Itinerant Theatrical Improvement Course) in Italy, France and Portugal, and 2 years in New York at Michael Howard Studios in the Two-Year Conservatory program.
She has worked with the Teatro Nacional de São João in Porto, and in Lisbon with the Teatro Aberto, with the Teatro do Chapitô Company and with the Teatro Nacional D.Maria II, with directors such as José Wallenstein, José Carlos Garcia, Bruno Bravo, João Lourenço, Helena Pimenta, Filipe Crawford and Carlo Cecchi.
As a director she directed the plays "O Anexo" and "Segundo Capitulo" by Neil Simon.
